After the USA had triumphed in the Mixed Team Relay earlier in the week, the first major individual medals were handed out on Friday, with Great Britain’s Evie Richards pipping the French star Pauline Ferrand-Prévot to win the women’s Cross-Country Short-Track, while the French Olympic runner-up Victor Koretzky triumphed in the men‘s event.
On Saturday August 31 it’s the big Downhill day, with the Elite men’s and women’s world titles to be contested and settled. The women are off from 12:30 local time (CET), followed by the men at 14:00.
